Abstract
Climate Risk Index (CRI) ranks countries depending on the level of effects of weather related loss events (storms, floods, heatwaves). This data is an average CRI from 2010 to 2019. Each country's index score has been derived from a country's average ranking in all four indicating categories, according to the following weighting: death toll, 1/6; deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, 1/3; absolute losses in PPP, 1/6; losses per GDP unit, 1/3 More about the methodology and data analysis: https://germanwatch.org/sites/germanwatch.org/files/Global%20Climate%20Risk%20Index%202021_1.pdf
